LiveHumans is a small, independent project that turns official population statistics into a live, easy-to-read counter and plain-English articles. If you have a question, spotted an error, or want to work with us, we'd like to hear from you.

What to contact us about
- Data corrections — if a figure looks wrong, tell us the country or page and, ideally, the source you're comparing against (UN, World Bank, national statistics office). We check every report and update the page if we got it wrong.
- Questions about the numbers — how the live counter estimates births and deaths, or why our figure differs from another site.
- Teachers and students — you're welcome to use LiveHumans in class. Ask us if you'd like a specific statistic explained.
- Media and citations — you may quote our articles with a link back to the page you used.

How our data works
Every counter on LiveHumans is a statistical estimate, not a headcount. We start from the latest published population figures and annual birth and death rates, then calculate how many people are added each second. You can read more on our About page or in our articles on the Learn page.
Advertising
LiveHumans is free to use and is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. We don't sell sponsored posts or paid links, and advertisers have no say over our content.
